SOPHIE

Lady Sophie was born in Dally Castle in Falstone England. She is the daughter of Lord Edward the Black, and his wife, Lady Joan. Lord Edward is the reigning nobility for the region and employed a large number of townsfolk as staff and soldiers. As Sophie grew up, she was instructed about court life and her responsibilities. She snuck out regularly to hunt with Gerard, her best friend and neighbor. She has grown up independent, stubborn, and strong willed. Her father is both proud and frustrated by this fact.

Sophie was courted by numerous men when she reached marrying age, and eventually decided on Oswald Eugene Huxley, the Duke of Dumfries. The arranged marriage was mostly based on Oswald's title, and the lands he owned just north of the English border. The couple made their new home in Jedburgh Scotland, about 30 miles north of Falstone England.
