CAPTAIN ROCHE

Captain Anthony de la Roche is 54 years old, and a trade ship captain. For the last six years he was captain of the St. George, a ship out of Brighton England. His ship was owned by a consortium that rented shipping services as needed. He was close to being an independent operator but still had to report to somebody. Their route would change with each job, but the core crew mostly stayed the same.

Captain Roche had been captain of the St. George for six years before she was lost on the shoals during a storm. The storm and the darkness separated the lifeboats, and Captain Roche didn't know the fate of his other crewman. His lifeboat was spotted by a passing ship, who rescued them and transported them to a connecting port. From there he and his men made their way back to England.
