FETU

Fetu is 24 years old and one of the Sand Maru from the island of PukaPuka. He was the first one to befriend Gerard after he was shipwrecked and marooned. Fetu taught Gerard the language and customs, while Gerrad answered questions about the outside world. Fetu also helped Gerard navigate the complex and confusing courtship rituals between men and women on PukaPuka. Fetu and Gerard became fierce friends and eventually decided they were blood brothers. 

 

Fetu has lived his entire life on PukaPuka. He has been a fisherman, a hunter, and a builder of things. He is frequently silly, and legendary for playing tricks on others. Enjoys talking in different voices and never takes anything too seriously. He is now one of the sailors on the Tawny Mane.
